          Hadahra Ben-Israel

          Accecpting new clients soon!

It is both an honor and a privilege, as your mental health clinician, to serve as a guide to you on your journey to mental health. In our work together, we will explore who you are now, where you’ve been, and where you want to go. I will walk alongside you with great professional care and respect.

My counseling approach focuses on human development, particularly early childhood attachments, and how you developed/coped as a result. The nature of my work welcomes clients to heal from trauma.

Fostering safety is my foundation in your care, and I work to empower you as you learn to trust the counseling relationship process. I am holistic in nature, treating the mind, body, and soul. When you are ready, and as you are able, life does get better. I will meet you wherever you are and celebrate with you as you crush your goals.

The five senses are powerful healing tools that provide communication methods and are relied upon as you heal. My skills with American Sign Language, facial expression, gestures, and body posture, combined with music, vibrational energy, and sound, are combined together, topped off with an emphasis on deep breathing exercises, to teach you how to calm and soothe yourself between sessions.

I have extensive experience in vocational guidance and interest testing. I work with individuals, children, youth, adults, couples, and families. I have raised four children of my own. Learning about human developmental stages is key to understanding your child. Values and fit are critical with couples. Bowen’s family systems illuminate the dynamics of generational family patterns that can change if one has a role model they desire to pattern after.

I look forward to meeting you and listening to you as you share your goals to be healthy, whole, and thriving.
